功課Completed!

終於完成上一科的神學功課啦!這科的功課是我上了十一科以來功課做得最辛苦的的一科,除了破紀錄地請了兩天半假期來做之外,late midnight 及"通頂"的次數也是最多.回想起來,其實這功課理應不是太困難,起碼BB比我遲很多才開始郤比我早完成,但當做起來的時候總是力不從心...唉!
明天晚上第二科又開始上課.....

少女的祈禱vs好好戀愛

在我的HiFi CD 當中, 有一首歌是陳潔麗翻唱"少女的祈禱", 因這首歌對神的描述極之不敬,所以平時當我的Car CD機播到這首歌時, 我就很自然地skip 到下一首,甚少會由頭到尾聽一次,印象中,只對"祈求天父做十分鐘好人"這句歌詞較有微言,認為作詞的,或甚至一般大眾對神的不太認識吧.

但今天在架車途中從收音機中再次聽到"少女的祈禱"這首歌,而最後的兩句"然而天父並未體恤好人 到我睜開眼 無明燈指引 我愛主 為何任我身邊愛人離棄了我 下了車 你怎可答允 ", 令我對這首歌更加反感,我真的希望在戀愛中遇上困難的基督徒不要這樣想像天父!

回家後,把Pris. 安睡後,有機會看到Shepherd Novice 的 blog, 而看到她post 的一首歌"好好戀愛 ",這正好回應"少女的祈禱"

大地震

上星期四是公司大地震的日子,見到一個個要離去的,尤其是一些與自己緊密合作的戰友,心裏實是難受,有些同事更忍不住哭起來.
已離去的,求神保守他們能儘快找到新工作.
留下的,求神加力給他們面對倍增的工作量及公司不穩定的心理壓力.

放假的一天+Announcement

終於在上一次寫blog的半年後,有機會update一下這個site啦!
首先要宣佈的是,今年六月尾左右,將會是我家第二個小朋友出生的日子!從其他有兩個小孩的父母所分享的經驗告知,相信到時一定忙到死,攰到死!不知道這小孩的性格將會是怎樣呢?心想,如果好似Priscilla"咁跳皮",我與Celia必定會"冇覺好訓"!不過,我相信神有他最好的安排及從他而來的力量!
另外,今天是放假一天,目的是要趕快完成下星期due的功課,雖要看很多頁書,但感覺是頗輕鬆,沒有上班時的壓力,可算是半休息的一天:早上比平時遲大約十五分鐘起床,然後幫Priscilla起床,梳洗及送她到Daycare Center,跟著在Hallelujah吃一個早晨全餐,最後回到家中開始看書...我開始有點懷念以前讀書的生活....

Happy Birthday to Tung Tung

One of the major purposes of creating this blog was to share some of my thoughts and experience with my daughter, Tung Tung, and so I was supposed to post my first sharing at her 1 year old birthday. However, I never got it done until today, which is her 2 years old birthday....

Today (June 17) was really a great day for celebrating her birthday:

1) Thanks God for giving the best weather: Some showers in early morning to wash the outdoor area and then a cloudy noon that we could eat and play in the patio of my parent-in-law's house.

2) Thanks my parents-in-law for preparing the house, the patio (my dad-in-law was busy in cleaning the garden and the kids play facilities the whole moring), and cooking the delicious chicken wings and dessert soup.

3) Thanks all the friends for their gifts and their kids to play with Tung Tung.

4) Thanks Tung Tung for behaving so cute and good that everyone had a lot of fun with her.

5) Last but not least, thanks my lovely wife, (and Tung Tung's loving mother) Celia for preparing all the things for this party, including the delicious Cheese on Spinach and Eggs, and the beautiful birthday cake! Especially the cake, it really took her much time, energy, and courage to make such a wonderful one!

Should I also thank myself, at least for being a cake tester for the past week, he he?

Well, I enjoyed even though with the risk of gaining some pounds...

I don't like writing at all, even though I have to read tens to hundreds of email during a typical working day and reply to most of them. This is also examplified by the fact that I now post my first message 1 year after this blog was created. However, I do think it is worth writing some of my feelings and thoughts in some moments of my life. So here you go and enjoy!
