One of the major purposes of creating this blog was to share some of my thoughts and experience with my daughter, Tung Tung, and so I was supposed to post my first sharing at her 1 year old birthday. However, I never got it done until today, which is her 2 years old birthday....Today (June 17) was really a great day for celebrating her birthday:
1) Thanks God for giving the best weather: Some showers in early morning to wash the outdoor area and then a cloudy noon that we could eat and play in the patio of my parent-in-law's house.
2) Thanks my parents-in-law for preparing the house, the patio (my dad-in-law was busy in cleaning the garden and the kids play facilities the whole moring), and cooking the delicious chicken wings and dessert soup.
3) Thanks all the friends for their gifts and their kids to play with Tung Tung.
4) Thanks Tung Tung for behaving so cute and good that everyone had a lot of fun with her.
5) Last but not least, thanks my lovely wife, (and Tung Tung's loving mother) Celia for preparing all the things for this party, including the delicious Cheese on Spinach and Eggs, and the beautiful birthday cake! Especially the cake, it really took her much time, energy, and courage to make such a wonderful one!Should I also thank myself, at least for being a cake tester for the past week, he he?
Well, I enjoyed even though with the risk of gaining some pounds...
